Leena Koskinen, Noora Helkiö, Mari Rummukainen, Aija Elg & Sanna Viitanen
Leena Koskinen is a senior advisor and works for Aalto University's Lifewide learning team. Leena specializes in student administration and life-long learning during her long career. He has been planning and producing online education and related services for almost 20 years.
Noora Helkiö is a university teacher of Finnish as a second language and written communication at the Aalto University Language Centre. She is interested in fostering language learners' agency and curiosity in and out of the classroom. She bases her teaching on the idea that language is social action, and that learning takes place especially through interaction with others.
Mari Rummukainen is a coordinator at Aalto University External Customer Services. She has experience in university administration with international cooperation, management, and communication in different universities of Finland. Mari has also experience in face-to-face and online teaching of creative writing and she has been planning and creating several different online courses at both university and Adul Education Centre level.
Aija Elg is a university teacher of Finnish as a second language at the Aalto University Language Centre. Aija has specialized in teaching Finnish remotely and has created online language courses and materials for self-study. She has taught Finnish both at Aalto University and three different universities in the United States.
Sanna Viitanen has a long career in academic affairs and admission services from various Finnish universities. She is interested in developing smooth and transparent processes that promote equality and enable students with diverse backgrounds to participate in the university community. She has studied and worked in various countries and has experience with the challenges one faces adjusting to a different culture. Currently, she works as a project manager at Aalto University Learning Services.
