  • Team assignments are posted here. All assignments and comments on the assignment will be open for all the course participants to see.

      Teams will study and report available eco design guidance, which is applicable for the teams product. Information sources are available at the "Course materials" - section, at companies, NGO and authorities web- pages as well as in scientific articles.


    • Max 4 slide (5 min) presentation for BigCo CEO on the applicable eco design guidance concerning teams product. 

    • The materials (quality & quantity) of the teams product is listed. The material sustainability is be ranked with traffic light or resembling indications. Explosion picture of the product is included.

    • Teams will suggest material improvements in their product and compare the original and improved products by using CES Edupack material choice tool. The teams will report the findings and propose a green product version. 

    • Teams will visualize their green product solution by a poster.

    • Teams describe the life cycle of their product from raw material to production, use and, end of life of the product. The report contains

        Date sources & evaluation of the reliability of the data, comments on missing / uncertain data, basis for own evaluations

        Clearly stated conclusions on the major impacts during the product life cycle.

    • Product life cycle comparison is built on top of the product life cycle report.

      Product life cycle comparison contains reasoning for the green product. It includes the argumentation supporting the statement "Our new product version is the greenest possible". The report is made available for the opposition team by 19.11. at 14:00.

      Opposition team can bring in any additional information in the debate. The governmental team must stick to the data they are presenting in the Product life cycle comparison - report.

    • Teams green product launch is free of the format. It can be a commercial video, presentation for investor / company board, TV-panel discussion, social media campaign, etc.
