Course overview

In this TU-CJ0001 Sustainable and digitally enabled business models course organized by Aalto University, students will develop their understanding and entrepreneurial skills of sustainable, networked, and institutionally guided value creation in the context of digitalization and sustainability-driven resource efficiency. The course content build on a business model as a central concept, which is innovated and mobilized as a joint activity of a value constellation of cooperating actors. 
The course is implemented in 2 ects formats, and includes interactive opening and closing lectures plus five online self-study content modules. Learning evaluation is implemented as randomized and versatile weekly quizzes (using most of the tools provided by the learning system), reflection assignments, and a course essay in groups.

This micro-course is part the European Entrepreneurship Micro-Minor (https://www.inter-connected-education.eu/euro-micro-minor), consisting of the European Entrepreneurship online micro-courses (1-2 ECTS) organized by five European Universities including Aalto University!  It has been designed to give you the possibility to build your own learning path by choosing among several entrepreneurship related electives:
* Sustainable and Digitally Enabled Business Models, 2 ECTS (University of Aalto, Finland)
* Social responsibility of new tech solutions, 1 ECTS (University of ELTE, Hungary)
* Digital business, competition and regulation 1 ECTS  (University of Rennes 1, France)
* European (digital) entrepreneurship with a Mission, 2 ECTS (University of Trento, Italy)
* Institutional Change and Entrepreneurship, 1 ECTS (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain)
* Technology Watch to detect Opportunities for Entrepreneurship, 1 ECTS (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain)

You will also have opportunity to apply your knowledge in the presential hands-on summer school in June 2024 (Budapest, Hungary) with travelling and accommodation costs covered (Note: limited amount of seats available). The volume of the complete portfolio of micro-courses, so called “Micro-Minor”, is max. 6 ECTS (or you can choose to study less than that).

Please Note: If you plan to include the courses in your degree, contact separately the planning officer of your programme to make sure that the course is accepted to be included in the degree.
