When can I study in the course?
The course material will open on November 21st 2022 at 10 (UCT + 3) and you'll have to complete all the exercises by December 19th 2022.
The course material will stay open until 16th of January 2023. During this time you can access the material 24/7.
How can I complete the exercises?
Once the course material is opened, you will see Section 1 on the left side of the page. In total, there are 4 sections, which will be opened during 3 weeks.
You need internet connection
to run the course material but you don't n have to install any programs on your
computer.
How many hours in a week do I need to study?
You can proceed at your own pace. Our estimations is that that each section requires 1-2 hours of studying.
I cannot run a video or audio, what should I do?
Technical problems with videos and audios are generally connected to browser settings. The easiest way to solve this problem is to try using another browser (Chrome, Safari, Explorer, Edge, Firefox).
Do I need an Aalto student number to complete the course?
You
can enroll to the course and complete all the course activities without
an Aalto student ID number. However, in order to get credits (1 cr), you'll have to enroll to the course in Sisu (https://sisu.aalto.fi),
at the end of the course with your Aalto ID. The course's code in Sisu is LC-7003.
I have completed an exercise but it does not show on my progress bar
Different kinds of activities have different requirements for completion: generally for videos it's enough to watch the video, most quizzes require a grade and forums require a post. In addition, you'll have to make some activities as completed manually - check that you have really completed the activity!
How can I get the course credit?
To get the course credit you have to register to the course on Sisu. To be able to register the course must be included in your study plan.
If you don't know how to do this, please contact the study coordinator of your school.
To get the course credit you need to complete 90 % of all the material. You can follow your progress with the progress bar on the opening page of the course.
