This "course" is meant to make sure that the new student still remembers the basic concepts of high school mathematics. It is much easier to start studying mathematics in university when the basics are still in fresh memory.
The course has been divided into a few subject areas, each of which consist of two problem sets:
- The actual "Problem set" consists of around ten problems in the subject area, in which every student studying math should be able to answer correctly. These problems have multiple attempts but each new attempt reduces the maximum number of points. By starting the entire problem set again, the point deductions will be reset.
A subject area can be considered completed when you get atleast 90 % of the maximum number of points. - "Practice problems" contain revision material and easier problems which you can use to revise and practice the solving problems in the subject area. These problems can be attempted again freely.
Before you start doing the problems, it is recommended that you go through the section below on answering Stack- problems.

The course assignments are automatically checked "Stack" assignments. This means that the answers given must be in a form that the inspection program can understand. In this section, we briefly review the necessary symbols and notations. At least go through the explanations so you know how to enter your answer.
