Course overview

The aim of the course is to learn the basics of Finnish language and to get familiar with Finnish culture as well.

 During the course, we will practice both receptive and productive language skills, focusing on those needed in the academic working environment and in your daily life outside the campus. In addition, we will practice strategic skills for language learning to make the most of the Finnish-speaking environment for language learning and to promote skills for independent language learning.
